The Great Awakening Coming to Quincy, IL.

WTJR-TV16 and several area churches will be hosting Evangelist Daniel McGehee and the Great Awakening team from The River Ministries International, Tampa, FL. starting Sunday, June 16th through Friday, June 21st. The meetings will be held at the Oakley Lindsay Center, 300 Civic Center Plaza, Quincy, IL. at 7:00 PM each evening. There will be power evangelist training Monday through Friday mornings at 10:00 AM; going out on the streets from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM. They will encourage and instruct us in how to reach our schools, businesses and our communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

In January 2011, CTN (Christian Television Network) joined with Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne and The River Ministries International to bring the “Great Awakening” to television. Many people then started to call and write to see if we had soul winning training here at CTN/WTJR and the soul winning materials. On March 14, 2011 we started the soul winning training here at the CTN/WTJR Studio and became a soul winning station. Now we have the opportunity to partner with the area churches and ministries to bring REVIVAL to Quincy, IL. and the surrounding communities.
