WTJR offers our local television programs through our video on demand service. The programs are online for a period of two months after the program plays on WTJR television. The program can be re-posted after that time from our archive if you email us at the station.

Video on Demand Frequently asked questions.

1. How do I watch shows? Click on the play icon next to a program listing and the show shall start, it will launch windows media player, you can control size, position and volume, after a few moments of buffering you can also rewind and fast forward to a given moment.
   
   
2. What file format are the files? Windows media 9 (.wmv files) at 60 megabyte size per 1/2 hour.
   
   
3. The file will not stream can I save the file? Read Download instructions below.
   
   
4. Why is the quality low or a small picture size? The files have been formatted for web video.
   
   
5. Can I watch full screen? Yes. In windows media player go to top task bar, right click, file/view/fullscreen. The picture may appear a little soft at that size.
   
   
6. Is the material copyrighted? Please read our Website terms of use on our home page.
   
   
7. What is up with the file names? The filename has the date attached one day after the program broadcast
   
   
8. I don't know the show name I just saw it on tv, or I only know the programs Hosts name... help? Please visit our local programs webpage to associate shows to program Hosts and airtimes.
   
   
9. I saw a show about 6 months ago with a missionary from India around 3:00am it was a network show, do you have that show? Due to Copyright issues we only offer our local programs recorded at our studio. The Video on demand folder goes back 2-3 months and the files are archived.

How to find a program in Video on demand

First only local programs in our studio are posted. Check our local program page for TV program name.
After you have the name of program you can scroll the files to the name they are listed in alphabetical order.

Approximately the last 2 months of programs are listed. The date after the filename is the airdate of program (plus one day in some cases).
At WTJR one local program may play 3 times that same week so the date is for that week.

If you know the airdate (or week) of that program you can go directly to that show with the name and date. If not you will have to watch (or check) the current program and work your way backwards till you find the guest or program episode you are looking for.

I only know Guests name ?

The guest names are listed for Pastor Speaks and Outreach Connection on the website at this time (except on our you tube channel) if you do not know the program name or air date (or week) please call or email us here at the station we have records of all our guests and what show they were on. We currently have a Production weblog or production blog.  You should be able to browse or search for local guests for select programs search for guest name, show and date.

The station also has a channel on YouTube where we post some of our programs as an outreach to the internet. Not every program local program is posted there.
